Educational institutions can keep their offices open for administrative work such as enrollment of students, maintenance of laboratories, libraries and cleaning up the campus, the education ministry said today.
As all government offices have opened and are operating on limited scale, educational institutions too can keep their offices open for administrative purposes, Public Relation Officer of the ministry Mohammad Abul Khair said in a statement.
The statement said elderly, pregnant and anyone with a preexisting health complication will not be allowed to work. It urged everyone else to wear facemasks during work.
All educational institutions have been closed since March 17, and the government extended the closure until June 15 to control the spread of Covid-19.
