Vikrant Massey has recently opened up on his decision to halt acting for the time being. The actor had previously taken to social media to hint that he would stop acting after his ongoing projects release in 2025. However, he has recently noted that his post has been misinterpreted.

Vikrant has shared a statement reflecting on his decision. He noted, “Acting is all I can do. And it has given me everything I have. My physical and mental health have taken a hit. I just want to take some time off, want to better my craft. I feel a sense of monotony at the moment. My post has been misinterpreted. That I am quitting or retiring from acting. I want to take some time off to focus on my family and health. I would be back when the time feels right.”

On the work front, the actor is currently promoting The Sabarmati Report, alongside Raashii Khanna and Ridhi Dogra. This year, he was also seen in Sector 36 with Deepak Dobriyal.
