Aadil Chopdat and Umar Lakhi have signed up for the Machu Picchu trek challenge in Peru.

Their nine day challenge will include treks through jungles and mountains all in aid of Human Relief Foundation’s appeal to build a school in Ghana.

The Inca Trail takes on three high mountain passes – the highest being 4,200m.

Aadil said, “The trek will be tough and will certainly test us both but upon witnessing the sight of Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate mirrored with breathtaking views across the Andes our efforts will more than worthwhile especially because it is all in the name of charity for the less fortunate kids of Ghana.”
The funds raised will go towards building a school and providing an education to children who would not have access to education otherwise.

The school that they are fundraising for will benefit 210 children and include 7 classrooms, a staff room, a dining and multi-purpose hall and 12 wash rooms.

Umar added, “To be a part of this amazing project in educating the future generations of one of the most rural and needy parts of Ghana.”
