Russell Peters, the famous Canadian comedian, basically hails from India. While having lived all his life in Canada, Peters still has a fair idea of what goes into desi societies. He uses his perception of life and the communities around the multi-cultural global societies of today. The comedian is known for his ability to criticize and mock some subtle realities without making people from the same community offend. Russel Peters also has the unique ability to laugh at his own self and community which sets him apart from many others.  He belongs to the Anglo-Indian community in India.

Although he is permanently settled in Canada, Russell Peters travels all over the world for his shows. This year he hosted  Gq Men of the Year Awards 2019. This time he also took his mother along to the show. He clicked selfies with Katrina Kaif and the actor Kabir Bedi. Not only did Russell Peters host the award show but also revealed that it was his birthday eve. The cake was cut on the same night. He posted his pictures with Katrina Kaif and Kabir Bedi with an interesting caption like always.

Not only did Russell Peters fans wish him a happy birthday, but the famous actor Anupam Kher also wished him on the big day.  Russell Peters has worked with the veteran actor in the past and the two share a special bond. Anupam Kher called Russell Peters his brother in the birthday wish.  Russell Peters is currently touring the world for his tour called ‘Deported World Tour.’ He would soon be seen performing in a show in Hyderabad.
