Opening up about his win, R Madhavan shared, “I felt very privileged because the rest of the nominees did a spectacular job. In most cases it is, but this one was extra special because there were a couple of other people who were also from the same series. For me, I felt literally victorious.”

When asked how he feels about having fans across generations, the actor shared, “It feels great but it’s also a huge responsibility. I know that the millennials, Gen-Zs and the generation after that are so aware and evolved. To be aspirational for them and to be somebody they look up to, I have to fight to be worthy of it. And I hope that it lasts a little longer. I know when my time comes to call it a day and hang my boots without having to embarrass myself.”
In The Railway Men, Madhavan plays the General Manager of the Central Railways who oversaw operations during the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy.
