COLOMBO (News1st): University laboratories are to be used to test samples obtained to carry out PCR tests to diagnose COVID-19.
This decision was taken upon a request made by the health secretary, University Grants Commission chairman Prof. Sampath Amaratunga said.
Accordingly, samples will be tested at the Sri Jayewardenepura, South Eastern, Colombo, and Jaffna Universities from Thursday.
