Indian Cricket Team is already celebrating its entry in the semi-finals of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, after winning seven out of eight matches. The team’s captain, often called Captain Cool, Mahendra Singh Dhoni gave the team another reason to celebrate as he turned 38 on Sunday, 7th July. The ICC tweeted a video to wish him, calling him the ‘Face of Indian Cricket’. A video of the cricketer’s birthday celebrations is also making the rounds on social media, where MS Dhoni can be seen cutting a cake with his daughter Ziva.
Meanwhile, several Bollywood celebs also took to social media to wish him: Preity Zinta posted a photo with Dhoni on Instagram, with the caption: Happy Birthday #MSDhoni! Wish you all the success & happiness always. #HappyBirthday #Ting
Actor Suniel Shetty tweeted with a photo of Dhoni: “Many happy returns of the day to the man who carried the burden of a billion hearts for so many years! Always a pleasure seeing you on the field @msdhoni!”

Director Priyadarshan also wished the Indian cricket legend on Twitter. MS Dhoni is the most experienced player in the current team playing for the World Cup.

He is also the only international captain to have won an ICC 50-over World Cup, the T20 World Cup and Champions Trophy. A film based on his life — MS Dhoni: The Untold Story — written and directed by Neeraj Pandey, was released in September 2016. It featured actor Sushant Singh Rajput as Dhoni and actress Kiara Advani as his wife, Sakshi. The actress also posed with him and his family for a photo taken on his 38th birthday.
