With another story on a Duggar, comes another story on pregnancy, and of course, comes a further story on the beloved baby bump.
Moms love them.
They love cradling them, having their husbands cradle them, having a stranger cradle them… it doesn’t matter, it’s their favorite accessory at this stage of their life.
But besides the nice perks of getting a whole new wardrobe and not having to suck in your muffin top, the baby bump also serves as a really nice tool to document the babies growth!
Luckily, Kendra Duggar is taking us along on her pregnancy journey as she recently shared an adorable family photo, taking the chance to show off her growing belly, of course.
“Happy Sunday,” the Counting On star captioned the Instagram pic, as seen below, featuring her husband, Joe Duggar, and their 13-month-old Garrett.
In the photo, the pregnant star is cradling her bump in an adorable blue midi dress, while Joe, 24, held their son.
Family members and fans loved the photo and immediately took to the comment section.
“You’re adorable!” Jill Dillard wrote. “Love the dress on you!”
“You are the cutest! So excited for you guys!” added a fellow Duggar fan.
The happy couple broke the news back in April that they were expecting their second baby together.
“We are ready to double the fun at our house! the pair told Us Weekly at the time.
“Being parents has already proven to be a greater joy than we had hoped or imagined.”
“We love getting to parent together and are loving every moment and milestone,” they said.
“We are very happy that our little family will welcome a new addition later this year,” adding that “children really are a blessing from God!”
They announced the sex of their second child the following month using the popular, thanks to sister-in-law Anna Duggar, cake gender reveal.
At Garrett’s first birthday party the family smashed a cake that ended up being full of pink frosting.
They’re having a girl!
“Parenting has already proven to be more wonderful than we could have dreamed,” Joe and Kendra told Us in June.
“Even though we come from large families, there is nothing like having your own children.”
“We are so thrilled that a little girl will be joining our family!” they said.
“Garrett is going to be such a great big brother.”
Kendra also took a chance to explain the unusual way that she broke the baby news to her hubby on an episode of the TLC show.
As documented in season 8, Joseph enjoys licking his food bowls and plates clean (this is the father, not the pet dog) but it’s true!
So, the mother-to-be had the unique idea of writing “baby soon” on one of his plates, so when he finished his food he saw the happy news!
But I bet next time he won’t be so eager to scarf down his dinner, who knows what kind of news will be waiting for him…
We are so excited for Kendra and Joe’s second pregnancy journey!
And we can’t wait to be introucued to their little girl, but for now, we will continue to keep up with her through Kendra’s bump!
