Jacquemus show is hitting the headlines for more than one reason. Its founder and creative director Simon Porte Jacquemus not only presented a spectacular show but also had supermodel Kendall Jenner return on the runway. This was Kendall’s first walk after the pandemic. While there were several fashion trends that cropped up on the runway from the designer’s collection titled La Montange, like biker shorts and crop tops for men, we also spotted bralettes for men. Male model Jonas Glöer, strutted on the ramp wearing an orange bralette with his floral co-ord set from Jacquemus and this could be a whole new trend after crop tops for men.

“With more men pushing fashion boundaries and making androgynous clothing the new normal, brolets can have their moment in fashion very soon,” says designer Anvita Sharma. “Jacquemus is a trendsetter when it comes to new styles. This brand is a favourite among the new and happening fashion influencers who seem to smitten by all the looks created by the designer and they keep on recreating those looks on Instagram reels and other platforms where they can show off their knack for fashion,” adds stylist Vikram Seth.

Talking more about his collection in the collection note, the French fashion designer wrote, “I wanted to focus on the clothes, the silhouettes, the colours, the fabrics, the details and the energy of the models. I wanted the set to be minimal and sharp, recreating an abstract artistic mountain that portrays the inspiration of the collection.”

The designer is known for doing his show in vast lavender fields in Provence. But this time he decided to let only his clothes take the center stage and be the talking point.
