COLOMBO(News 1st) – A suspect was arrested by the Customs at the BIA for the possession of gold valued at Rs 39mn. According to Customs media spokesperson, Sunil Jayaratne the arrested suspect is a staff member of the duty-free at the airport.
The customs seized 40 gold biscuits and 1 kilogram of jewellery from the suspect’s possession.
