COLOMBO (News 1st); A fire had broken out in the medicine storage of the Wellawa Hiripitya Regional Hospital.
The Police stated that the fire had spread when the main circuit caught fire near a shelf where medicines were stored, later the Police stated that the fire was put out within a few hours
As a result, few medicines in the hospital’s medicine store were destroyed.
