Every time they say uni I keep thinking prison
I didn't go to Music Uni, but I studied vocal performance at a small Christian Uni. An old dorm was converted into 6 small practice rooms that doubled as lesson rooms for the vocalists/pianists. Although music and performing arts were clearly of little importance to our Uni President, at least those practice rooms were clean. 🙂
I'm studying classical guitar in univesity, but first I had to study for 3 years a bachelor degree in music (2 more because I had to prepare for my graduation, including social service, a lot of paperwork work and a final concert) so I studied piano for a year, and now I have to take piano for 2 more years, and it's the worst, I'm always thinking I should be studying guitar instead. I mean, I get piano is an important instrument and all, but why make students learn another instrument if we can bearly handle one? 🙁

I’m screaming at the piano music at the background cuz I was practicing that exact piece before I decided to watch you guys. I guess that means I should go back to practicing.
I used to practice outside too, it was really efficient but everyone always gave me weird looks and asked me weird questions like "how did you get the steinway out of the building by yourself?"
