We loved this bride’s burgundy and blue lehenga combination!

The colour red is known as one of the most auspicious shades for Indian weddings. Brides love to experiment with shades of red for their bridal lehengas. We recently came across a bride, who wore a stunning lehenga in burgundy (a deep red) shade.

Bride Arshdeep wore a stunning lehenga from Anita Dongre’s Odyssey collection. The burgundy lehenga featured intricate gotta-patti work with hints of blue colour on the hand embroidery. What made the stunning lehenga interesting was the blue colour dupatta paired with it. The dupatta added a refreshing contrast to her look. For those who want to experiment with colours and go for something traditional, then this refreshing colour combination is for you.

The bride styled the blue dupatta over her shoulders and a burgundy one as a head veil. For her jewellery, the bride wore an interesting matha-patti with matching earrings and nose ring. Not to miss was her elaborate choker design with red stones. We also loved how the groom complemented the bride’s look. He was seen wearing a white coloured sherwani, which he paired with a blue coloured stole.

The Odyssey collection is inspired by Ranthambore. The designer took colour inspiration from vibrant birdes and lakes. For embroidery, the designer incorporated the heritage of age-old trees in silks with traditional crafts of Rajasthan.
