The closure of in-person classesof Dhaka University has been extended till February 21.
DU Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr M Akhtaruzzaman confirmed the development today.

However, other academic activities including exams will continue in-person with proper health guidelines maintained, he added.
“We will extend closure of physical classes for two weeks following the government decision. But our crucial exams and laboratory activities will continue in person maintaining the health guidelines,” the VC told our campus correspondent.
Official announcement will be released in this regard tomorrow, said DU Pro Vice Chancellor Prof ASM Maksud Kamal.
On January 21, the DU authorities suspended its in-person classes till February 6.
