Today marks India’s 75th Independence Day. On this day, the provision of the 1947 Indian Independence Act transferred a legislative sovereign status to the Indian Constituent Assembly and India became a free country. 

Filled with pride and nostalgia, social media is flooded today with messages commemorating the big day. B-town celebrities are sharing beautiful pictures with the Tricolour along with messages that will stir up that patriotic feeling and leave you with a sense of pride. 

One of the most beautiful messages was written by Hrithik Roshan, who said, “Freedom to me is freedom to fully express oneself, be oneself , all sides of oneself … how else are we to ever find out our authentic selves! Let’s express fully , make those mistakes and grow… and so better ourselves , re invent ourselves.”
