Sri Lanka’s Foreign Minister to leave for India today (6)

COLOMBO (News 1st): Sri Lanka’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prof. G. L. Peiris is scheduled to leave for India on Sunday (Feb. 6), on a three-day official visit.

Minister Prof. G. L. Peiris will hold discussions with India’s Minister of External Affairs, Dr. S. Jaishankar, and other Government representatives, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

Last month, Dr. S. Jaishankar tweeted that he had agreed to remain in close touch with his Sri Lankan counterpart.
