COLOMBO (News 1st): The Bureau of Foreign Employment of Sri Lanka (SLBFE) has requested that workers leaving for employment in Middle Eastern countries be given a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Its Deputy General Manager Mangala Randeniya stated that the Director General of Health has been informed about this.

He added that workers who are looking to go abroad have been continuously informing their bureau about obtaining the third dose of the vaccine.
