After the shocking news of Rishi Kapoor’s demise on April 30, 2020, the industry and fans have been immersed in grief. The last rites and a funeral were held on the same day. His family and loves ones were present to bid him adieu one last time.

Yesterday, his daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni travelled from Delhi to be with her family amidst the lockdown. She was not sanctioned permission to fly down on the same day for the funeral. She reached Mumbai by road for the prayer meet held in memory of her late father and actor Rishi Kapoor.
