The Covid-19 situation will decide the fate of Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent exams next year, said Education Minister Dipu Moni today.
“It will depend on the Covid-19 situation whether the next SSC exams will take place with all subjects or a group of subjects like this year,” she said while unveiling the results of SSC exams at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre today.
“If possible, we will take the exams of all subjects. If not, we will go for the group-wise exams. But we hope for the first one,” she added.
She also said they will observe the situation till next year March. If the situation remains normal, SSC exams will take place in the middle of 2022 and then the HSC tests with a shorter syllabus.
“Targeting this, the classes of all subjects are going on every day. After January and February, we will decide on the subjects if needed,” she added.
