More than 4000 undergoing quarantine at camps

COLOMBO (News1st): 4505 people are currently undergoing quarantine across 37 military operated facilities in Sri Lanka.

Chief of Defence Staff and Army Commander Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva who is also the head of the National Operations Centre for Preventing COVID-19 said 4950 people already completed the mandatory quarantine period and were released.

He said 07 people would be released today following the completion of their quarantine period.

At the same time, the Public Health Inspectors Association said 4110 people are in self quarantine and are being monitored.
