In recent posts, Khloe Kardashian has displayed personal growth and signs of healing.
Many fans are overjoyed to see it.
Others, however, remain worried. Khloe spent the past several years making some regrettable choices.
But Khloe would like for her fans to let go of that instead of holding her “hostage” to her mistakes.
Khloe Kardashian is infamous for her very indirect way of speaking to fans.
Maybe it’s a boundary. Maybe she wants plausible deniability. Or she could simply be more comfortable using other people’s words.
Khloe’s latest message to her fans and followers came in the form of a TikTok video that she shared to Instagram.
You know those (often ridiculous) “self-help” TikTokers? Khloe shared a video by one named Graham.
“Some people only know what they knew about you,” the video advises.
The TikTok then claims: “They have no clue what’s actually new about you.”
“You see, I figured out that people will hold you hostage to your past,” the TikTok characterizes.
The video explains that this is “because it helps them validate how they wanted to feel about you.”
Graham the TikToker continues: “And to be honest, it helps them really validate how they want to feel about themselves.”
“Either way, can I give you some advice? Grow,” the TikTok that Khloe shared then advises.
“Grow at such a rate so fast and so much that your past becomes irrelevant,” he counsels.
The advice concludes: “Anybody who chooses to see you from your old scope, they become just as irrelevant.”
We know that there are some folks who do not understand why people “read so much into” Khloe’s vague, goofy posts.
But she has a long history of expressing herself in this manner, even when she refuses to directly address a topic.
So this is pretty standard stuff for Khloe. Most of her followers are well aware that this is how she likes to communicate.
Beyond that, it’s truly no mystery what “Khloe” is talking about, here.
She spent almost four years letting Tristan Thompson get away with cheating on and embarrassing her.
He humiliated her, wormed his way back into her heart, and then did it again and again.
Obviously, Tristan betrayed Khloe’s trust, wronging her, damaging their relationship.
He did all of this seemingly without a thought for how it would impact others … especially their daughter, True.
That is not Khloe’s fault. However, many of her fans felt alarm when Khloe allowed it to happen again.
Fans knew in April of 2018 that Tristan would cheat on her again. They were right.
Khloe very clearly did not wish to hear it — did not wish to hear anyone’s opinions or advice.
Obviously fixated on the idea of a “picture perfect” nuclear family for True, Khloe openly resented her own fans and their warnings.
It’s Khloe’s life, and it’s mostly her mistake to make … but her choices also impact True.
And had Khloe listened to fans, it would not have taken news of Maralee Nichols having Tristan’s baby to end things.
Now, Khloe has brought a second child into an emotionally complicated situation. Now, she wants her fans to move on.
