Ishaan Khatter, who made his debut with Majid Majidi’s Beyond the Clouds, took to his Instagram account announcing the commencement of his next, A suitable boy. Directed by The Namesake director, Mira Nair the film also stars Tabu and newcomer Tanya Maniktala.

Earlier today, Ishaan shared a picture with Tabu from the movie and captioned it as, “A Suitable Boy…first look”. In the picture, Ishaan is seen looking at Tabu in awe as the two are sitting on an old swing. The comment section on this picture is flooded with fans expressing their excitement over the film. 

Ishaan shared a picture of Tabu and director Mira Nair together before they started their shoot for the project as well. He addressed them as the two powerhouses in his post. Check it out.

The film revolves around four families in india in the early 1950’s after the India Pakistan partition. The movie has Ishaan Khatter playing the role of Maan Kapoor who is infatuated with Saaeda Bai essayed by Tabu.
