New Zealand invited pressure back on them after a good first session where Tom Latham and William Somerville added 76 runs for the second wicket. Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin picked 2 wickets each while Axar Patel and Umesh Yadav scalped one wicket each that brought India back in the game. Coming back to Ashwin, after removing Latham, he has surpassed Harbhajan Singh to become India’s third-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket with his 418 scalps.
