Who doesn’t remember Imran Ashraf the Bhola of Ranjha Ranjha Kardi who blew everyone away with his power-packed performance as a mentally challenged man who got married to the woman he loved? Although Imran Ashraf had been acting for a long time, this particular drama proved his mettle even more as a strong actor. Imran Ashraf is currently working on his debut film Dum Mastam which has been produced by Adnan Siddiqui.  He recently shared a sweet memory from the shooting days with hid fans with a video of him singing to the title track of the famous drama serial Meray Paas Tum Ho’s title track with Adnan Siddiqui playing the piano.

Imran Ashraf wrote, ‘As we say; ”When in Rome, do as the Romans do”! What I want to say, the OST of block buster serial, MPTH is on everyone’s tongue all over the world…..then who am I not to hum/ sing the song of the moment. So, here I go! Dum Mastam has bene written by Amr Khan and directed by M Ehtihsamuddin. While Imran Ahsraf and Amr Khan will play the main lead roles, the internet sensation Momin bin Saqib will also make his debut in this film.

Adnan Siddiqui spoke about Dum Mastam to Masala in an interview. Also, in an interview with Masala, writer and one of the main leads Amar Khan had revealed that Dum Mastam is a romantic comedy film. Speaking to Masala, Amar khan revealed that she had been working on this project for two years.  Amar Khan mentioned that Dum Mastam was a Punjab-centric film and would be instantly relatable for the audience. It is the story of a Punjabi dysfunctional family and what life holds for them.  She said that the music of the film was composed by various esteemed composers like Shiraz Uppal, Azaan Sami Khan, Bilal Saeed, and Shani Arshad.
