COLOMBO (News 1st); Police IGP C.D. Wickramaratne on Sunday (26) visited the residences of the deceased Police personnel in connection with the Friday (24) incident of a Police Sergeant shooting four Policemen dead.
The Police IGP, who visited the residences of Sub-Police Inspector K. L. M. Abdul Cader, Police Sergeant A. Navinath, Police Sergeant T. B. K. P. Gunasekera and Police Sergeant Driver D. M. T. H. Pushpakumara, and expressed his condolences.
The four deceased police officers were also granted posthumous promotions as well.
