The headmaster was arrested following a case filed by one of the victim’s guardians with the police facility, the OC said. The police official said the man was sent to jail after interrogation.
According to the case statement, Shah Alam has been sexually harassing female students for a long time. In the case statement, the plaintiff alleged that the accused headmaster called the students to him and touched them inappropriately day after day.
The students could not disclose the matter to their guardians out of fear and shame, stated the case document.
“Some third graders of the school were not going to the school for the last one week. When the guardians asked them about it, they disclosed the matter to them,” it read.
Later, one of the guardians filed the case against Shah Alam with Mithapukur Police Station.
