The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the deadline to file tax returns to August 9 for the year 2017-18, it said in a notification issued late Friday.
The FBR “is pleased to further extend the date of filing of Income Tax Returns/Statements for the Tax Year 2018 for individuals/AOPs and companies upto 9th August, 2019”, the notification read.
The prior August 2 deadline was set to expire midnight today (Friday).
