The mother of a freedom fighter has been waiting for her son for 50 years in an old house adjacent to Government Women’s College in Pirojpur city.
After he was captured, the Pakistani army asked him to say “Pakistan Zindabad” but instead he shouted “Joy Bangla”. That earned him a rod in his skull with a Pakistani flag attached.
