Travellers are snapping up flights from $99 as part of the massive sale, which sees sale fares to a different destination released each day for the first 12 days of December.

Domestic flights start from $99, with Sydney-Gold Coast, Melbourne-Launceston and Adelaide-Kangaroo Island the cheapest routes up for grabs.

The first international region on sale was South America, with the airline spruiking return flights from $1099 for select travel dates in 2020.

Today the UK goes on sale with return economy fares from Sydney to London starting from $1219. The next nine days remain a mystery with Qantas urging travellers to check back daily to uncover daily deals until December 12.

Over the 12 days a range of domestic and international beachside destinations are set to go on sale plus more offers from Qantas’ partners such as car hire and hotels.

The sale fares will be across all cabins for select travel periods between December 2019 to December 2020.
