As we celebrate Mother’s Day today, one must not forget the importance of the planet we call Mother Earth. Nurturing and providing, the human race has tipped to a point where we have exploited the planet to exhaustion. 

Praying for its healing and urging everyone to be mindful when using resources, Alia Bhatt and Dia Mirza shared Mother’s Day posts for the planet on their social media. In her post, Alia wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to the mother we all share… Mamma Earth. Let’s love her, protect her and encourage our gem-next to care for her too.” 

Dia also posted a thoughtful message that read, “May we respect, protect, love, cherish and honour all that you are. May we learn to help you heal from all the wounds we have inflicted upon you without realising how much suffering it would cause us all, your children.”
