2019 is proving to be a great year for Akshay Kumar. The actor had three releases this year and maintained his 100 per cent success rate at the box-office. Now, Akshay has shifted all his focus for the promotions of his next release Good Newwz. Earlier today, Akshay along with the cast of the film launched the trailer in a local theatre. During the interactions with the media, the actor made an interesting revelation as to how he became part of the project.

He said, “Karan Johar narrated me a story for almost 1.5 hours. Then I asked him what else he was making. He told me he was making a small film called Good Newwz. I asked him to narrate that film’s story. He narrated the film in two minutes and after listening to it, I told him, ‘Let’s drop the 1.5 hours narration and do Good Newwz.’ I really liked this slice-of-life story.” Now, isn’t that interesting?

Good Newwz is directed by Raj Mehta and will release on December 27.
